Rancho Naturalista Prices for the end of 2011
High season was Dec 15, 2010 to April 15, 2011
(the month of July 2011 is high season at $145.00 per person per night with meals and taxes included)
Low season: April 15 2011- Dec 15, 2011 at $125.00 per person per night with meals and taxes included
Rancho Naturalista Prices for 2012
High season: Dec 15 2011-April 15 2012 is $145.00 per person per night with meals included but the taxes of 13% are not included
Low season: April 15, 2012- Dec 15, 2012 is $125.00 per person per night with meals included but the taxes of 13% are not included

Single Supplement: The single supplement is $30 per person per
night in the low season dates described
above, and $50 per person per night in the
high season dates as described above.
Driver discounts: 8 or more guests, driver is free. Less than 8 driver stays at $50/night

Bird watching guides: Guiding fees are paid directly to the guides, the fee is:
$50.00 per group for a full morning of guiding (up to 5 people)
$40.00 per group for an afternoon of guiding (up to 5 people)
*Note for groups larger than 5 people the guiding fee can be negotiated with the guide
ALL GUIDING IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, IF THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH GUIDES THAN YOU MAY HAVE TO SHARE A GUIDE!
Transportation: Rio Tuis, La Mina, Cerro Silencio (Silent Mountain), CATIE and any other sites nearby Rancho Naturalista have a transportation fee of $10.00 per person (minimum $20.00) for the transportation to local birding sites when Rancho Naturalista vehicles are used. Transportation is subject to availability of vehicles.
*CATIE
currently charges a $10.00 entry fee per guest.
*Cerro Silencio
is an all day hike and a guide is necessary for this hike, the mountainous terrain is extremely difficult hiking and you will need to be in good physical condition for this birding trip.
*Other Activities
Available at Rancho Naturalista: Horseback Riding,
Shopping in the town of Turrialba, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Massage,
Whitewater Rafting, Canyoning (Zip line and rock climbing)
Spanish lessons, dancing lessons,

Other Activities will depend on availability of resident bird guide(s) and transport. The Rancho staff will do their best to accommodate you on these activities even without prior notice, however the sooner we know of your desire for one of these trips, the easier it is for us to make it happen.
